The Meigs County Museum

Collects, protects and exhibits the material culture of Meigs County.

Educates the public about the history of Meigs County through exhibits, special programs, tours and events.

Works with county schools to provide hands-on programming that meets ODE state curriculum standards.

Houses the Society's library as well as early probate court records for genealogical research purposes.

Publishes histories, genealogical research and other books of local and regional historical interest.

Conducts family history workshops and provides genealogical research assistance.

Provides assistance with historical projects and research.

Works closely with The University of Rio Grande, Ohio University, Ohio History Connections, the Ohio Historic Preservation Office and other organizations on historical projects.
